I remember the game at UP after Clive Walker was done. He was given stick every time he touched the ball and when he was near the touchline there were cries of "Come on Clive, show us yur willy".

There was a big scandal back in the 1960's over football betting. Peter Swan and Tony Kay, both England Internationals, were jailed and banned for life. Kay was named man of the match in the offending game.

Best story I heard about Duncan Ferguson was he twice caught thieves trying to rob his house and beat the shit out of them both times.
I imagine it became a thieving scouser quest to try to rob his house.
